Our students complete “Genius Hour” projects throughout the year. In Genius Hour, students use their 21st Century Learning skills to explore a topic of their choice, and use their leadership skills to become a “school expert” in that field. Students showcase their mastery in a Prezi, model, speech, power point, etc. Our students have selected topics such as cats, karate, depression, eating disorders, dogs, cheetahs, fashion design, and much more!

Our students also learn through “Project-Based Learning”. An example of our students’ PBL’s this year include engineering with marbles and tubes, the civil war, and the environment. Click here to view our students’ Prezi on the Civil War.
