As part of our curriculum, Lighthouse students take part in many community service projects throughout the school year. Students visit nursing homes, help serve meals at city luncheons, assist local help centers, write letters to shut-ins, and conduct a Baby-Care-a-Thon. In addition, we dedicate a school day (on or near November 11) to honor Veterans by either visiting the VFW, hosting an appreciation banquet, sending care packages, or touring a military-themed museum.
