The curriculum at all levels reflects the philosophy and objectives of Christian education. It was chosen to be in harmony with the ideas expressed in our mission statement. The textbooks and course material used throughout the school are in compliance with the recommendation of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, Office of Education. This is the central coordinating office for all schools operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church throughout the world.

Lighthouse students enroll in mathematics, language arts (reading, writing, grammar, phonics, handwriting, and spelling), science, social studies, Bible, physical education, music, technology, Spanish, art, and hand-chimes (beginning and advanced). Students may sign-up for piano lessons for an additional fee. All classes are taught with the objective of developing character, witness and service abilities, physical and social skills, and career and work responsibility. Use of technology such as computer applications and design is integrated into most subjects.

Students at Lighthouse SDA Christian School experience Project-Based Learning as part of the regular curriculum. Students create projects while using critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity. Check-out a geography project created by our grades 1-4 students by clicking here, which will take you to our Facebook video. If you are not currently logged-in to Facebook, you will have to log-in, then go to Lighthouse SDA Christian School and select our videos.
